My Personal Philosophy

I believe that exercise is an essential component of recovery for whose who have undergone recent surgery or illness or are debilitated from an injury.
Exercise therapy facilitates improvements in range of motion and strength which optimizes participation in daily life activities.
In addition, one's spirit becomes stronger as the body feels stronger.
My work specializes in thoughtful individualized therapeutic exercise programs and modifications for the following special populations:
- breast cancer survivors
- stroke survivors
- individuals with repeititve stress injuries or hand problems
- arthritis
Community education is extremely important.. I regularly volunteer my services to non-profit groups including the SASS Foundation, North Shore University Hospital, The American Cancer Society, SHARE, and Lean on Me.
Both in-home and office consultations are available in the Queens/Nassau region of New York. Some programs may be reimbursed by insurance. Please contact me for more information.
